Once they left this temporary base and joined the Phoenix Squadron, the crew of the Ghost became crucial in helping the Rebels become the organized unit that is featured in A New Hope. However, the Squadron would later be forced to leave the planet behind after Admiral Thrawn was successful in finding and attacking Atollon. Eventually, they find one in Atollon, which would become home to the Phoenix Squadron's Chopper Base in Season 3.
